The theater is full: ladies who are mothers at present and those who are going to become them in the future have played the performance for our children.

The first opening night of a new season the Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater took place on its chamber stage. It was “Colorful Pictures for the Most Little Ones” under the title of “The Sprout”. The author of the theatrical composition and the director of the performance is Ekaterina Gоrokhovskaya. The Scene-Designer Olga Kolesnikova. The Lighting Designer Viktor Storozhenko.

Liudmila Storozhenko leads the performance. Not with a coat check but with this usual lines of any theater program, the acquaintance with the theater for little spectators has begun during these summer days. It is great when you are welcomed, greeted in a polite manner, seated in a small crush-room on cheerful, pulpy, colorful pillows and told to where you have come, what waiting for you and in what way you should behave while watching a performance and then you are invited into auditorium.

The director’s 30 minutes plastic composition without a word played only by the theater’s actresses reminds about a mother’s touch to a beloved child. Everything should be explained to the child in the future, that on the one hand fire can burn his/her palm badly, but on the other hand it can warm it with its warmth, that air is frabjously light, cheerful in its incorporeity and loves to play with the clouds which has brought itself, that water is capricious and restive, the Earth – fundamental and is ready to accept each and all.

If a human being wants to grow a seed, he or she without any difference should know how to get along with and how to use all the elements. Only then a timid sprout will grow into a beautiful rose. It is possible to smile each other with all our hearts and feel the moment of world agreement, harmony. The mission is completed.

The actresses: Anastassia Beskrovnaya, Zhanna Voloshina, Marina Klimova, Lyubov Kochneva, Olga Lysenko, Nina Panteleeva, Irina protasova, Irina Sosedova, Tamara Tsikhan and Victoriya Shanina play carefully and in a responsible manner, as if they take their outpourings on the stage sometimes for some minutes as a noble mission.

After the performance kids are invited into the crush-room where they continue the communication with characters, where they can draw their impressions of the performance, ask all questions to workers of various theater services. Ekaterina Gоrokhovskaya considers this second interactive part of the performance to be a very important component and a natural continuation of the first acquaintance for a little spectator with the theater.
